TLC2 represented at Plone symposium
Josten Ma, TLC2's Application Solutions Manager, spoke at the Plone Symposium East 2008 held March 12-13 at Penn State. TLC2 is an advocate of the open-source content management system Plone. Mr. Ma delivered a speech entitled, "Successful Ingredients: How Plone worked well at the University of Houston".

TLC2 has developed more than 50 websites using Plone, with many of them supporting research initiatives on and off campus. The presentation will explore the successful ingredients to web development at UH and beyond.
The presentation also covered the ZShells tools that TLC2 has developed to enable the rapid deployment of websites, as well as provide an enhanced user-friendly environment. ZShells was developed as a product for the open-source content management system and will be made available to the public for their use at no charge.
