Welcome to THEGrid Workshop at UH
This two day workshop is the second of a series of workshops to come in the future. It is devoted to raise awareness of computing grid within the High Energy and Astrophysics fields in Texas institutions and to discuss the direction for implementation of such grid within them.
- Learn the current status of computing grid and various activities currently in progress
- Have a few hands-on demonstration of computing grid in action
Discuss plans for future activities
- Establish achievable milestones
- Establish good collaborative relationship among the participants
