Oner Ulvi Celepcikay presented his paper "Regional Pattern Discovery in Geo-referenced Datasets Using PCA" in Kayseri, TURKEY. Released Cougar^2, an open source library for data mining and machine learning. It features test-first development and promotes more open development standards. 12-2006: The IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM) has identified the top 10 best-known algorithms in data mining, of which C4.5, SVM, and Apriori are the top 3 algorithms.
