J. Leigh Leasure

J. Leigh Leasure Assistant professor, UH Psychology Department J. Leigh Leasure is Assistant professor in the University of Houston’s Psychology Department. Dr. Leasure’s research focuses on neuroplasticity, or the capacity of the adult brain to change in response to behavior and experience. Her lab concentrates primarily on three aspects of neuroplasticity: reactive events that occur after injury, the aged brain’s decreased capacity for change, and the generation of new neurons in the adult brain. Dr. Leasure holds a Ph.D from the University of Texas at Austin.
