Marc Garbey is a professor of Computer Science at the University of Houston (UH), and an adjoint professor in both the Mathematics and the Engineering Technology Department at UH. Dr. Garbey is also affiliated with the Institute of Engineering Science of Lyon (ISTIL) in France, and the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Florida.
Dr. Garbey’s primary interest is in computational sciences, with Computational Life Science his main field of application. In his work, he has taught at universities both in France and the U.S. He holds a PhD in applied mathematics from France’s École Central de Lyon and Habilitation (applied mathematics) from the University of Lyon.
