NIJ Conference 2007

The conference (held between July 23 and July 25) showcases what works, what doesn’t work, and what the research shows as promising. New developments in technology that increases public safety will be featured. The conference puts a heavy emphasis on the benefits to researchers and practitioners who work together to make effective evidence-based policies and practices. For 14 years, NIJ’s annual conference has brought together criminal justice scholars, policymakers, and practitioners at the local, State, and Federal levels to share the most recent findings from research and technology.

NIJ will continue to offer opportunities for practitioners, researchers, presenters, and NIJ staff to exchange ideas through roundtable lunches and a poolside event.
