2006 Albert J. Harris Award

The efects of theoretically different instruction and student characteristics on the skills of struggling readers," an article co-authored by Patricia G. Mathes, Carolyn A. Denton, Jack M. Fletcher, Jason L. Anthony, David J. Francis, & Christopher W. Schatschneider published in Reading Research Quarterly, 40(2), pp. 148-182 has won the 2006 Albert J. Harris Award. The co-authors will receive their reward during the Research Awards and Address Reception at the Hilton Chicago, International Ballroom on May 1st from 4:30-6:00pm during the 51st Annual International Reading Association Convention.
